Bounty - again
I hate to bore you with photos of vegetables. It's just that I'm always so tickled when the potager starts producing in earnest for the summer. Today I picked red oak leaf lettuce, chop suey greens, harlequin carrots (thanks GlassRoad), mange tout, purple & green basil, courgette, radish, artichoke and coriander for lunch and supper. There, that's my five a day sorted out.
I worked in the potager this morning erecting structures to hold the myriad tomatoes that are growing like mad things. We have monstrous gales at the moment so it's very tiring work, but the skies are blue, with scudding clouds, and the sun is out and HOT. At last.
