The Bandstand, Buxton, Derbyshire

Our daughter will not be back until quite late. The weather has been so good that they wanted to make the most of their last day. I have missed her - and will make sure that she knows it when she gets in!

With a few extra hours to ourselves, we drove to Buxton to enjoy the sunshine in that pretty town.

The brass band were playing a medley of Michael Jackson songs as I took this shot. We wandered into the tourist information centre and exited to the Floral Dance. There were lots of toes tapping as they played that tune!

Back to work tomorrow - oh, the joys!
