Baby Toys
We dug out this approximately 30-year-old Duplo* toy to help entertain our visiting Grandson Paddy, so it seemed like it would make a suitable blip. It seems less acceptable nowadays than years ago to have toys in or attached to a baby's cot: this one can be clipped to the bars of a cot but we're just letting Paddy play with it at other times. It's good practice for his developing coordination but it'll take a while before he's able to fiddle with it accurately.
We had 9 for dinner this evening - ourselves, 3 sons plus "better halves" and one of Son#1's longest-standing friends from schooldays who came to visit. (Paddy was asleep by then or there'd have been 10 at the table!) It was a really lovely evening.
