New shrub, first flower.

We planted a number of new shrubs in the garden recently. This is our first flower on a Lavatera Barnsley Baby.

We’d a walk after a thunderstorm this morning. Muggy. Families were enjoying the park, quite a number of tourists around.

We’d lunch in the garden; too unpleasant to do any jobs, so we read instead. Later we went to visit a friend who’d surgery on Thursday. He’s in good spirits.

We’d another thunderstorm in the evening.
