Afternoon Outing

Or, where computer punchcards came from.  The extra workshop I was scheduled to teach this afternoon had no sign-ups, so I took the opportunity to take one of the side trips, in this case to the Textile Museum in Tilburg.  As well as being a museum, it's also a studio space for modern textiles, so there was a lot to look at.  This is one of the old Jacquard looms in the museum, with its punchcards at the ready.
