Rain Clouds

It's been an interesting day. Little Man decided to start the day early, so we were up at 5. I took him into town to get out of the house and to find things to do. I forgot it was Saturday and decided to walk home along the Isabel Trail again, only to discover that Park Run were holding their weekly runs along the trail. We started down the track as many of the slower runners were coming along the path, so we were able to make our way home without causing too many problems for the runners. We got home and chilled. Whilst hubby was doing the kitchen, I took a rather tired and cranky toddler for a walk around the park. He fell asleep before we'd made it round the 1 kilometre (1.609 mile) perimeter trail. He slept for several hours, which allowed me to pop to the corner shop to get potatoes for dinner.

The clouds have been passing over all day. There have been scattered showers, but the promised thunder storms haven't exactly turned up yet. We're under a yellow warning for thunderstorms until midnight.
