Villa Maria!

A super quiet day as my husband is away with work all the weekend.

Went to Colchester this morning and spent a fruitful couple of hours raking through the last of the sales rails in Fenwick before heading to Specsavers to try out some new multi focal contact lenses that I bravely drove home in and managed to read the papers during the first 4 hour wearing trial. I will be so happy to go back to lenses if they work out which I think they will…though the cost of them wasn’t revealed during the free trial stage and I suppose they won’t be cheap!

Spent the afternoon in the shade reading the papers and then watching ‘Succession’ …I have come late to the party but am loving Series 1. Anyone who has worked with family owned businesses can recognise the Roy kids - the writers have nailed it.

A bit sad drinking Villa Maria in my own with just the happily snorting horses over the fence for company (and a lot of bugs!).
