Bowland Knotts

This is Bowland Knotts.  A wonderful long single track road found turning off the A65 at Clapham following Clapham Station sign. 

Wheatears at the top with Curlews calling. We found a seat in a sheltered position for our sandwiches and Coffee

We went left to into Lancashire again single track (in much poorer condition)via Stocks Reservoir and Slaidburn. Followed by a quick shop at Booths Supermarket in Clitheroe. No rain until Slaidburn then dry hot and humid by Clitheroe.

Test match at Leeds off for rain all of our journey.
