Steps to the canal

We had lunch with Steven and Kirsty at Ratho today.  It was lovely to catch up with them.  The banks of the canal were all overgrown with wildflowers.

This morning I had my first go at picking some of the blackcurrants in our garden.  To my surprise there were plenty of ripe berries,.  I will be making blackcurrant jelly very soon I think
