Is he the same one!

A lovely day and we had a “Meet and Greet” at the allotment.
A chance to meet some of the new “Allotmenteers”
A chance to discuss such things as the weather, potato blight and our favourite rock band!!
But it was almost a “Meat - as in chicken meat - and Greet - as in the Scottish word for crying!”
There were plates of sandwiches on offer and I chose one from the “veggie” platter.
I was just about to put it in my mouth when I realised it was chicken, not good for a “veggie” of more than fifty years. However, a “disaster” was averted.
And the title.
Is this the same handsome deer I blipped a few days ago?
Possibly, but a beauty whatever.
