Another day, another archaeological site

This time a burial cairn near St. Buryan - so near the road there that part of the cairn was destroyed when the road was constructed. For those who know, a Scillonian type passage grave.
The stone on the left is in fact a replica as the original stone with its cupmarks is in Truro museum. Nearby the Merry Maiden's stone circle so an area rich in prehistory.
A jaunt in Penzance was followed by another potter around the Land's End peninsula.
An excellent Thai meal in Truro rounded off the day.
