The hare appeared again this morning after a week's absence and seemed to want to get close to the pigeon. Because it is always silly Saturday :-)

Not the best moment to travel as one third of the country will go off on holiday this weekend. My flight leaves very early tomorrow morning and getting the luggage checked can take quite a while with holiday queues , so I'm off to Schiphol to stay there overnight tonight. In the hope that if I'll get up really early I'll bypass the worst queues ...

Oh and may I just rant a bit. Our government has fallen last night over some really awkward and rather random asylum stuff, completely irresponsible while we have so many unsolved problems already and seemingly mainly to please the voters of one particular party. Elections apparently only possible towards November and meanwhile really nothing of all the main problems will get solved. So shameful and reckless ! Last time after general elections it took almost a year before a coalition was formed, so even darker times ahead !
