Al! Alan! Alan! Al! Alan!

Cliff (the painter…and now also floor-layer) finished up today.

The room has remained the same colours (see extra), but has just been freshened up with the added addition of a new floor. It’s effect on the room is quite remarkable as what could at times feel a little dingy and dark, is now bright and airy. Maybe even a little too much, but I intend to temper this with the addition of some dark green blinds and a decent rug mid-floor. I think a new desk might be in order too…

Some teachers at the school were on strike again today, which meant that The Youngest was in and m’boy was out. Such has been the regularity of the pattern of this that The Youngest now accepts this without any grumbling.

M’boy headed off for a lovely day out with his grandparents taking in the Windermere Jetty Museum, a picnic and a chat with a nice old chap about a nice old car.
