Johnny came flying into the house serious as a heart attack. “Get your shoes on! HURRY UP!! Grab Bella! Put her in the house! COME ON!! COME ON!!
I thought something was killing birds, horse was down, or something was on fire!! Scared me to death! I got outside and he grinned. He guided me to where I could see the duck pool. For the last 2 months, mama duck would be gone a week or more at a time. We were hoping she was nesting on the island. SHE WAS!!! She brought 8 baby ducks to the barn!! Thank you, Lord! We do love babies of all species! :—)
