Hoverfly hovering

This tells me that (1) hoverflies only hover for a short time before going somewhere else; (2) it is very difficult to get the camera to focus on such a small subject in such a short time; (3) it is better if the fly is hovering in a sunbeam; (4) mostly, they don't hover at all.
