Early start to the day. I had an audiology appointment at 9.30 and B had a hair cut booked at the same time. I went in with him out of curiosity and to make sure that the appointment that had been made on line was correct. What a bonus …..to find this super interesting place. I did ask if I could take a picture as there was so much to see and take in. The chap was more than happy to satisfy my curiosity!!! 

Two appointments completed, we then did bits and pieces. We found and registered with the dentists, they were recommended by our former dentists in Nettleham. 

We had to back to B’s barber to pay the bill. They only take cash, B only has a card and I’m the one that always has some cash in my handbag just in case.

As we arrived home I saw one of the estate gardeners. I asked him if he would help me by digging a hole in the border at the side of our garden wall. The area is already planted but there is a gap and I had a plant looking for a new home. The ground is mainly clay and was beyond my capabilities. He willingly helped and I’ve got my plant in and well watered. 

Whilst that was being done I plodded on and weeded the area. Grass and thistles were sprouting in gaps in the clay ridden soil. 

It was very hot and tiring, but  I’m not complaining.
