The mighty Tweed

I treated myself to a day’s fishing on the Gala Angling Association’s waters with a £10 day ticket.Tricky working out how to access the Gala Water beats. Head high grass, thistles etc and plenty of riverbank trees. This was the view back to the car. No fish as the day was bright and the water low. I slipped down to a section of the Tweed where the GAA has trout fishing rights: a bit like being given access to a motorway on the proviso you don’t leave the slow lane. But for £10 that’s fine by me.
