Apples on a plate.

The Feast Day of Saint Maelruain. An Irish Bishop and Abbot.
The warm, sunny humid weather is here in Blackburn again. I watered the plants to prevent them dying or suffering in the dry spell.
We have been to the High Street and then a short canal walk. No sign of boats nor Father Swan and the four cygnets. There is a vast area of the canal covered with green duck weed. I hope all the wildlife are safe and well.
Just having a Cath Kidston cup of Yorkshire Gold tea with Oatly Whole milk and two sugars.
I will read some stories from The People's Friend.
