Bullish

I took the ferry from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, leaving Jackie pottering around old haunts (example pictured) in Stone Town. My holidays begin here, as I am taking annual leave in Europe for a couple of weeks. A thrilling prospect and the first break for a good while.

The traffic in Dar es Salaam at rush hour is truly abysmal. Deo the taxi driver is bullish and skilled behind a wheel, so I was deposited at the airport in time to begin the long overnight trek.
