That Green.
In springtime (and, despite it being June, it still feels like the back end of what was a very cold and very late-blooming Spring) I have a bit of an obsession with dense woodlands, shafts of sunlight, and that green, that green, that comes when bright sunlight passes through freshly unfurled leaves. Artists probably have a name for it, but I always think of it as that green.
Only three weeks ago I posted a similar photo, and the colours then seemed almost autumnal; Mother Nature still stirring from her sleep.
Like that previous one, somehow a straight photo doesn't capture what I'm after; it feels like a bit of abstraction is in order. And, like the last one, it works better if you just follow your eyes.
