Transformation
Bella now has volleyball on Fridays, so we’ve switched her Baba Day to Thursday, which is what it used to be years ago. On our way to get Boba tea (referred to on her T-shirt) we passed the Blue Wall where I’ve made a number of photos of her over the years. She broke into a little dance, the light struck her hair and her face just so…and suddenly I saw the woman she is becoming
When did that happen?
Twelve and a half, going on twenty-five.
After Boba tea we went to Powells. She wanted Books 2 and 3 in a series of books written by Holly Jackson about a teenage detective in (I think) London. Bella needs reading material for the family’s possible trip to Greece coming up in a couple of weeks.
Guns ’N Roses is performing in Athens, and then the crew has a week off before they start touring the USA. Seth has bought tickets for Cristina, Bella, and Evan to join him in Athens and then spend a couple of days in Santorini. What a dream that is for them all!
But will it actually happen? There has been some horrible mistake made with the children’s passports. The government says the passports were delivered May 11, but that is not the case. On investigation, they found that though the passports were reported to have been delivered, they were not reported to have been mailed. They seem to have disappeared into a black hole.
Cristina is in a real swivet, hoping the passports will arrive.
