Mary Valley beauty

Today I went for a drive with Mum through the hinterland to Kenilworth for lunch and then through the Mary Valley to Maleny before heading back to the coast.

There was severe flooding here earlier this year. The brilliant green grass was beautiful in contrast to the angry sky with only filtered light coming through late in the afternoon. I had to stop the car to take this.

My "real" camera had flat batteries by this stage so this is just a grab with the G12, and only slightly adjusted in Lightroom.
