The Baby Box.

We visited our older son and daughter-in-law this evening. Their wee baby is due this month. We saw their Baby Box. It contained lovely quality essential items for their newborn, and more. The Baby Box is part of a Scottish Government commitment to ensure every child has the best start in life. Many families have benefitted from this fantastic scheme; a quarter of a million Baby Boxes have been delivered to expectant parents. The popular scheme’s sixth anniversary is in August.

We discussed a Hebridean trip planned for Spring 2024. Nice to anticipate and reflect.

Dentist and Hygienist earlier in day. Did some decorating either side of my outing to the surgery.

NHS 75 years old today. We live in a different world in so many ways.
