Messing about . . .

 . . . on the river.
This evening four members of our camera club went for a river trip. Two members own this rib and invited members to join them.  Two of us went along tonight - others might go another  day. The main shot shows the Oldenburg which takes passengers and 'stuff' to Lundy Island and also does trips up and down the coast, coming in to Bideford Harbour at high tide.
We had two hours pootling along the river Torridge, looking for the birds that reside along the  edges.  We saw egrets, herons, moorhens, cormorants, ducks, Canada geese, oystercatchers and many gulls.  Usual suspects seen along the river.
We had a lovely time and I even managed to get in and out of the rib without getting my feet wet! Yeah.
Look Ma - No Hands in extra!
