First Swim

Had a cracking day today... I managed to allow Gina a lie-in and The Little Goblin played ball and had a long sleep as well. I spent a bit of time sorting out The Shivering Timbers' website, then when everyone was awake we jumped in the car and made it to the pool for Miles' first swim. It's funny, like a cat going to the vet, he just knew that something was up. We put him in his swim nappy and rash vest thing and he went all quiet, just waiting for something to happen!

Turns out he wasn't that fussed about the swimming pool... there was none of the rampant kicking and splashing that we were anticipating! That said, there were also no tears, which was a good thing! We reckon that there were just too many new things to take in. We think he enjoyed it, but we'll try again in a few weeks to see how he does. It was also an opportunity to pull out the waterproof camera, which doesn't get much use these days! I'm looking forward to being able to blip him underwater. :)
