Misty enjoyed her usual paddle in Bassenthwaite today.  The bin men are still on strike so put some garden waste in a couple of bags which I emptied at the recycle place in Wigton en-route to Bassenthwaite.  Wish the strike would end, its been over two months!  Its turned so cold so the layers are back on.  If my boiler was working then I'm sure the heating would be on ... unheard of for July!
