Maryport

This is a photo from the other evening and I think it sums up the conditions.  One minute dark cloud, then sun, then rain and drizzle.  This looking back from the end of the pier towards Maryport.  I'm pleased I turned round as I would have missed the light on the buildings and the different coloured sky.

The new roof is on and they have to return to cap where the chimney was, but it is water tight.  Adam will no doubt climb and check.

A good U3A meeting this morning showing photos of old building or ruins.  We have a month off in August and meet in September when it was decided to have an 'open theme.'  

Also our usual group had a good chin-wag sitting outside drinking either tea or coffee.
