Summer scene

at the resort of Hunstanton, Norfolk UK, sometimes dubbed "Sunny Hunny". The name is variously said to be derived from a local river - the Hunn, or the  reddish stone which is quarried nearby - honeystone, like the colour of the cliffs.

The building has a tenpin bowling alley on the upper floor and various amusements and slot machines at ground level.

The former pier was washed away during a storm in 1978.

Storms can be quite vicious around here, here's a photo from our last major one in 2013.
