Tree Plant Day

In November last year I volunteered to go on a tree planting day at The Duke of Gloucester Barracks near Grantham well what a day it turned out to be! It was arranged through work and the Woodland Trust we were planting trees to eventually give cover to the army on training exercises. Firstly we had some team building exercises over army assault courses where we had to plan how to get equipment from one side to the other it was great fun but hard work after lunch we got down to some tree planting which went very well then we were taken one at a time on the army rough terrain vehicle training course OMG that was hair raising to say the least very very scary but absolutely great I will certainly be looking out for more volunteering opportunities.
