1946 Hudson Commodore

The Hudson line of automobiles were manufactured from the early 1940's to the early 1950's in Detroit, Michigan.

This particular car is owned by a local gentleman named Floyd, who told me everything I might ever want to know about Hudson's. Floyd purchased this car from a collector over in eastern Washington who has / had about 25 Hudsons.

According to Floyd, the Commodore was the "top of the line" Hudson model, although almost everything was an "extra" when it came to buying one of these cars. The fog lights on the front are original... but were considered an "extra." The white sidewall tires were not standard, and were added by Floyd after he purchased the car in the late 2000's.

Also note that the rear passenger doors are "suicide doors" that open from the front as opposed to most car doors that open from the rear.
