Never...ever ...did I think I would be thinking of a spider as having a 'cute' factor! This has!! Well .........I do realise not everyone will share this rose-tinted viewpoint :)) Goodness I think he's blushing!

With his rather dashing lime green abdomen he stood out from the nettle leaf even though he was minuscule probably about 4mm from end to end. You can see his extraordinary size in relation to the sharp silica hair of the nettle on the right and directly in front of his lovely reddish brown head.

These spiders spin a rather untidy orb-web amongst the brambles , thistles and nettles and I wouldn't be surprised if it was chasing some of my previous blips - hopefully doing a sterling job with my pests!

Clock those eyes! To die for.......
