You, Me and the Balloons

I went into town this afternoon to see the Yayoi Kusama instillation, You, me and the balloons. It was weirdly impressive. There were huge writhing tendrils, balls, skittles, a gourd, a dog and a massive doll. Everything was covered in circles or dots. There was a video of Kusama singing something in Japanese and it was on a loop of about thirty seconds. It was haunting to start with but after hearing it over and over it did begin to grate.

I was really glad that I went to see it.

Now I need to go and pack (I hate packing!).

BTW….it’s the official 75th anniversary of the NHS today. I’m quite pleased that my photo is all over NHSBT site.
