Derbyshire Dales

My errands today took me into the beautiful Derbyshire Dales.

The river Derwent was looking quite low. Although the clouds looked quiet threatening, not a drop of rain rained.

As i had a little wonder about I saw this Great dane outside the front door of this beautiful house. I'm guessing a much loved guard dog once upon a time, but still on guard.
