Taxi!

Back to the beach again today, but this time we walked down to Pedi and got the taxi boat over.  This wasn't the swish high speed one we got from the main harbour a few days ago but the small one that chugs across the bay.  We've known Georgio, the owner, ever since we first came here 27 years ago when he worked in a local restaurant and was married to a British author; a bit of a 'Shirley Valentine' situation before she decided she had to go back to the UK.  The top picture is our view on the way over (the beach is in a little cove in between the first headland on the right and the further one) and the bottom is a view of the boat setting off for the next beach, with a couple having claimed our seats as we got off.  In the top photo you can make out the path that we use when we walk over to the beach.

A hot day today with a light breeze, which called for many dips in the sea to keep cool.
