Two thin blue lines!

I’m not on strike but, as with each of the last times, schools are closed so I’ve got a day off. Good timing as it meant I could take my son to the Sussex Police HQ in Lewes this morning so he could have his photo and fingerprints taken and provide samples for drug and DNA tests. Don’t worry, he’s not in trouble, it’s just the last bits that need doing before he joins the force in October.

I’d never been to Lewes before, apart from supply teaching at the secondary school there, so it was a nice surprise to find this lovely path along the River Ouse, which I had a stroll along while I waited for my son.
