Drove down to mk to the artist’s studio to choose my painting. Very exciting! Then went into Woburn Sands to meet FC and DF for lunch at The Whisk. It had been recommended but I wasn’t too impressed. D was looking for a new top so I went with her to one shop but it was pouring with rain by then so I got back in the car and went to Ikea to pick up a few things, and then to Waitrose on my way back to the M1. It was a busy, wet journey home and I made a slight detour to drop off lots of plant pits for recycling at the garden centre. Got home about 5.30 to discover it hadn’t rained at all in Nottingham .
