Wimbledon

We were so lucky to be in Court 1 with a roof. It started raining at 12.30 and was still raining when we left at 8.30!! We saw some fabulous matches and was especially pleased to see the Brit - Cameron Norrie play a superb game against Tomas Machac. We indulged in Strawberries and cream, which are still the same price they were in 2010 - just £2.50 for ten strawberries with masses of cream. A bargain. The walk back to Southfield tube station promised to be a very wet one, so I asked a guy sorting out the bins if I could possibly have two huge black bin liners. He was very sweet and gave them to me. A quick snip to make a neck hole and two slits for arms, we were well equipped for any amount of rain. We got lots of compliments on our haute couture creations. What a lovely day.
