Hot, Hot, Hot!

We caught the train to Xativa (pronounced shativa) to visit the castle there. Train journey tedious - stopped at every station - but the town was lovely and the castle superb. Weather was excruciatingly hot and only bearable by a few beers, an ice cream and a taxi ride up and down the very steep mountain to the castle. The old town of Xativa is lovely with narrow streets and reminded me of Pezenas in France.

Just back from a superb meal, just a cafe on the streets of Valencia. So lovely to be able to sit outside and eat.

We hear it's raining in the UK!
