Rain

Such a rainy afternoon today!  Tim had ventured out to Barnstaple after lunch, to try and acquire some timber from B&Q (to create a trestle table to start building furniture), and got caught in it.  Unfortunately, B&Q didn't have any of the right timber he wanted, so he came home without any (but with a tin of lovely teal paint - destined for at least one of our walls). 

I had another busy work day.  Joined a Teams call at lunchtime (our new menopause group at work - although it was mostly just general chat), so didn't really take a proper break, and didn't finish work until after 6pm.  I did give my Mum a call this afternoon though, and did a few bits and pieces of my own while I was listening to a webinar this morning.

We had our new kitchen tap delivered while Tim was out - of course, once he was back and had a look at how to fit it, he discovered we had the wrong fittings on the existing taps and he could have bought the right ones while he was at B&Q, if he'd known.  D'oh.
