Big Apple

Barcelona has created several super manzanas (blocks/apples) combining nine blocks into one super block with pedestrianised axis crossing them. This is one on Consell de Cent. This was a car-jammed cross roads just a few months ago! The tranquility is noticeable! The concept has divided opinion but flat owners on these quiet streets are laughing all the way to the bank as the property values have rocketed!
