Quarry View

A view across the mountain of a hole in the hill behind Sandside  to the mountain of a hill across the estuary that is Whitbarrow.  The highest point on Whitbarrow is 215m , so not really a mountain but higher than the 101m,  my watch told me we were standing at to take the photo. All quiet today in the quarry and  M, leading the walk, who lives very locally says she's not heard blasting for a while but there were lorries going in and out. And, to be clear,  Whitbarrow is only a hill because it's less than 610m or 2000 feet.
