with 3 other savage grandmothers who hit the ball like a demon.

My first hard game post surgery and it was heaven. I have played tennis with these 3 women for close to 25 years. Through good times and difficult times - we just pound that ball over the net - back and forth, back and forth. Screaming and roaring and laughing. (Not to mention the blaspheming).

One of my best friends is Liz and her sister is a nurse in the NHS and lives in Croydon. Liz is over in London Town and attending Wimbledon and stays with her sister. Have a great time dear Liz. You are the bestest of best friends.

So I had an early swim, walk, coffee, tennis… and now I’m exhausted. But a good exhausted if you get my drift.

Wimbledon is one of the best sporting occasions on the planet. A tribute to the sporting British.
