'Roseburn Cliff': Pape's Cottages

A favourite street name for a very picturesque location beside the Water of Leith. Built in 1894, the inscription on the gable attests "In accordance with the will of George Pape of Coltbridge House these cottages were built for the use of three poor widows in all time coming". Current occupancy rate by poor widows unknown.
