When I got up this morning the forecast was for rain started around 9:30. It wasn't worth it to get everyone together for work, and only be there an hour. And it did start raining around 9:30 and has rained most of the day.
After breakfast I decided to go for a walk at Shubie Park, since I had about an hour before the rain was forecast to start. I found this mama duck with 4 babies strolling along one of the trails. I slowed down until she took them off the path and down into a marshy area.
Since the 'change oil soon' notification has been coming on in my truck for a couple of weeks, I took advantage of the day off and went to get the oil changed. It seems that there is usually a 2 hour wait at the place I have been going to. I decided to check another place today and when I called was told the wait is about 45 minutes. It was actually only about 30 minutes, as they had one car in the bay and one car waiting when I arrived. Much better customer service at this place than what I have had at the other one the past couple of times I have been there. He also told me that I have an oil leak around the valve gasket, so will need to get that fixed soon.
