Moddergat Mudflats

The sun sets over the mudflats at Moddergat, Frisia, The Netherlands.

Can you see the jellyfish?

After too many days without being out there to shoot the landscape, I just had to get out this evening. The weather was grey and dull all day, but the forecast promised something better at sunset. I contacted my friends and Ton responded. The two of us drove to Moddergat, one of our favourite locations at the Waddensea. Boy, we were not disappointed tonight! At some point, I was just standing there, leaning against the poles of the breakwater, thoroughly enjoying the wind in my face and feeling altogether happy. A fantastic night; thanks once again Ton!

Definitely better bigger!
