What a view

Today was everything you'd want a Wellness Walk to be. People unsure setting out. Some pausing and pondering. Some hard honest conversations. Participants supporting each other me fading into the background. Phone numbers swapped, plans made. 

Later, due to a forgotten rucksack, one of our regulars showed me his frankly astounding garden built into a steep hillside. So sad that they now get him down as they were one of the loveliest gardens I've ever seen, the labours of love evident everywhere. 
As well as some fantastic quirkiness. This T-Rex is about 16ft long. Further up the garden there were waterfalls, artworks and a 1:4 scale replica of the local stone circle made from old slate gate stoops.

I really hope he can find the joy in it again.
