New resident

It was GREAT not having the alarm waking me. There is much I want to get done during this break. G too, so we didn't hang about. Both G and I worked doing our stuff. We watched a couple of episodes of Poirot in between.

We didn't leave the flat but had food delivered - twice! In the afternoon, it was an aloo paratha from Sind Punjab, and in the evening, I had a shawarma while G ate fish and chips! I should have known better than to order a takeaway for dinner. I had to wait over an hour!

This little hoopoe in the garden cheers me up no end. I was so pleased to get close enough to get a shot, though a longer zoom lens would have helped.
