Orchid

I enjoyed a wonderful day visiting my good friend, and fellow blipper, Shaaamie, in Allendale, today. A good game of bowls, largely in sunshine, followed by a tasty lunch and then a pleasant walk in Allenheads. What's not to love? I was amazed by the abundance of orchids on the banks of the river. Some like this one, (though it is difficult to see, here, with nothing for scale) were impressively large, too.
