Into the woods

Well what a day.  Bowls match this morning. The weather started ok. I even applied sun block. And then it clouded over and the wind picked up. Shortly followed by rain showers. It was as though we were in Autumn and the season was coming to an end. Conditions were difficult to bowl in and holding on to your bowls became difficult. Given the situation we were still able to grind out a win and now go in to the playoffs.

Our daughter had to cancel taking our Grandkids to Saltees to see the Puffins due to high winds. They are due to come over the Irish Sea by Ferry tomorrow to see us. The weather forecast is not good.
