The street

Another day spent in front of the screen, this time editing late entries for a Best Practice competition. Thankfully they were quite good, so instead of trying to figure out what they should be saying and then doing it for them, I could just provide gentle pointers as to what might improve their application. 

Meanwhile, Mrs. Ottawacker got it into her head that our tree needed trimming and she was just the person to do it. I hate anyone interfering with trees, so I sat in my office, quietly seething, while outside branches were flying, squirrels were heading for the hills, and the family of racoons moved out of the upper branches. Still, it needed doing. Apparently.
